Description

Packaged Unit

The SonicEye® System comes in a ruggedized container with a Quick Start Guide, chargers, and ultrasound gel. The system is compact for shipping and configures easily for clinical use.

System Description

SonicEye® contains a fingertip-mounted, dual-array probe that enables ultrasound imaging in both the far field (i.e., internal bleeding) and near field (i.e., collapsed lung). The ergonomic design is intuitive and provides simultaneous tactile feedback, making it ideal for the FAST exam, eFAST exam, Musculoskeletal (MSK) examinations and other imaging or guided procedures in emergency medicine. The probe design was optimized for intuitive simplicity and stability across a variety of environments (i.e., ER, Role Care 1 & 2, ambulance, helicopter, etc.). The ergonomic design was achieved with Army medical residents in the Ultrasound Fellowship Program at Madigan Army Medical Center.

The App/GUI is pre-loaded on a Vanquisher, ruggedized tablet, running Windows 10. The system is designed for the NON-NETWORK environment and is 100% self-contained including a “LEARN” section which includes training materials for an Ultrasound Safety Manual, Instructions for Use, an eFAST Refresher and an MSK refresher.

SonicEye® Dual-Array Ultrasound System operates in B-Mode and is an FDA cleared device.
